MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING - Friday 29th September - and Flu Morning on Sat 7th October.  A huge thanks to all who attended and helped - we have raised over £400 so far and money is still coming in.

If you have not had your flu jab yet - please make an appointment - having the vaccine here provides vital income to the practice - if we don't get this income - we may lose some services.

New Prescription Line

Due to the increased number of prescriptions we are trialling a 24 hour repeat prescription line.

This can be accessed the same way as before - dial the normal practice number and Option 2 for prescriptions.   You will automatically be transferred to the answer machine.   Please leave a message stating your name, date of birth, address and telephone number followed by the medication you require.    Please speak clearly and spell anything unusual.   If we cannot hear the message we cannot generate your prescription !

Use of Arboretum Premises

We are now able to use some of the rooms at the Arboretum Practice - which is only across the road from us.    Please check which building your appointment is in.

GREAT NEWS -     We have received our CQC report after the Inspection on 31st May and have been graded as GOOD

Temporary Registration

If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP practice for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient.

You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be on the local practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will have to re-register as a temporary patient or permanently register with that practice.

To register as a temporary patient simply contact the local practice you wish to use. Practices do not have to accept you as a temporary patient although they do have an obligation to offer emergency treatment. You cannot register as a temporary patient at a practice in the town or area where you are already registered.
