Prescription Line
Due to the increased number of prescriptions we have a 24 hour repeat prescription line.
This can be accessed the same way as before - dial the normal practice number and Option 2 for prescriptions. You will automatically be transferred to the answer machine. Please leave a message stating your NAME, DATE OF BIRTH, address and telephone number followed by the NAME OF THE MEDICATION you require. Please speak clearly and spell anything unusual. If we cannot hear the message - we cannot generate your prescription !
Repeat Prescriptions
Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:
- In Person - drop the repeat slip in the red box provided at reception with the required items clearly marked.
- By Post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
- By Telephone - call 01522 530334 and press option 2
- Online - please return to the homepage and click on link - ACCESS ALL AREAS & Repeat Prescriptions - this will connect you to the clinical system.
You can also arrange for you local chemist to order repeat medication on your behalf, cutting out the need to contact the surgery each time. Some chemists also provide a delivery service for the elderly and housebound.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow at least 48 hours from receipt of order for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. Collection time at the surgery is after 16:00 - see table below for details.
